A Little Bit About Me
I have registered here to look for a hubby for my younger sister (yes, I have become a rishta aunty - I have no shame in admitting it; comes with the territory of being the elder sister). She is educated, employed, smart, creative, funny, kind, hard-working, caring, loving, and super thoughtful. She is the most responsible one among our siblings (the one who always reminds others about upcoming birthdays, graduations, promotions, etc. in the family, washes dishes without being asked, fills up the car with gas when returning it back to dad, voluntarily volunteers on weekends to support community projects, shovels the landlady's driveway on a particularly snowy day - she is the one who usually spearheads family celebrations/vacations and mobilizes us lazy ones to do something special for other members in our household on their special occasions... needless to say she is probably our parents' favourite.... :| ). She is also a really fun person to be with, has a good sense of humour, and is full of energy and positivity; she is adventurous, loves nature, likes to travel and hang out with friends. She is also a deeply spiritual person.
Professionally, she is in the tech field as her day job and also teaches at a university for fun. So, she is a geek...a cool one though! When it comes to the latest apps and the digital world, she is the gal to go to - and you bet if you get married to her, there will be GIANT screens at your wedding with live tweets from your guests (including the bride) and instagram photos...
You should also know that she is divorced. She had a nikkah with someone in Pakistan through an arranged marriage and was in the process of sponsoring him to Canada. Turns out the guy was interested elsewhere - so it ended before he could come here and before rukhsati. As unfortunate as this is, this experience has made her a stronger being with more faith in Allah than ever. Hopefully, you won't be bogged down by cultural stigma attached to the word "divorce" inshaAllah. It would be a shame to not look past that one bad experience that happened to her (and not because of her fault) because she truly is a great human being, and arguably, with all the good genes (and qualities) one could hog in a family :)

What I Am Looking For
A behnoi :) someone who is honest, caring, God-conscious, appreciates humour, and can be a fun travel (and life) partner. Most importantly, someone who values good character and can love my sister for who she is and can inspire her to be an even better human being.
